The University of Missouri is a large, public, research university in Columbia, Missouri. Approximately 26,000 undergraduate and 7,700 graduate students attend. The primary role of the Office of Disability Services is to coordinate academic accommodations so that students with disabilities have equal access and opportunity. They work with faculty to ensure understanding of the student's needs and accommodation plan. They also spend time individually with students depending on what they request and what their needs are.
